In search for interesting people on Twitter, I’ve found a nice 15-year-old little girl with the nickname @ Angry_Blonde. Judging by reports and photos, the girl was not wicked, but very funny and kind. She has more than 7000 fans, which is much for an ordinary girl. But, she is not quite normal – she has very well-known father. Call girl Hailey Jade Mathers. Guess who’s daughter is this?

Miss USA Rima Fakih

Miss USA 2010, the 59th edition of the Miss USA pageant, was held at the Theatre for the Performing Arts in Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada on May 16, 2010. Miss USA 2009, Kristen Dalton of North Carolina, crowned her successor, Rima Fakih of Michigan as Miss USA 2010 at the end of this event. Fakih represented the United States at the Miss Universe 2010 pageant in Las Vegas on August 23, 2010 where she did not advance to the semifinals; becoming the fourth Miss USA to do so in Miss Universe history (the last time was Shauntay Hinton in 2002). Representatives of the 50 states and the District of Columbia competed for the title in the pageant, which was broadcast live on NBC. Fakih’s victory, however, was controversial with charges of bias facing the Miss USA Pageant after Morgan Elizabeth Woolard, who was runner-up, defended Arizona’s anti-illegal immigration bill.

A selection of photographs of criminals taken in a police station but this time these are Sydney police mug shots from 1912-1930.
These two were busted for attempted rape of a minor (8-year-old girl)

This picture was taken much earlier than the original set of pictures in April 1865. This is Lewis Powell, a patriot of the Confederacy, he participated in the murder of Lincoln. This is a picture of him three months prior to execution by hanging. Pay attention to the shackles.

How Cuban Cohiba Cigars are Made

The name of the cigars being hand rolled in these photos is Cohiba which belongs to the Tiano Indians who were first encountered by Columbus on his way to America. The cigars were originally registered in Cuba in 1969. The name of the brand originally meant the Government of Cuba. Cuban cigar rollers are known as torcedores and are touted as being the most skilled cigar rollers in the world. Torcedores are highly respected in Cuban culture and society and travel worldwide displaying their art of hand rolling cigars.

I think we should smile more often, otherwise everyone will end up in such selection.

Hot Anorexic Girl? No way!

Anorexia nervosa is an eating disorder characterized by refusal to maintain a healthy body weight and an obsessive fear of gaining weight. It is often coupled with a distorted self image which may be maintained by various cognitive biases that alter how the affected individual evaluates and thinks about her or his body, food and eating. Persons with anorexia nervosa continue to feel hunger, but deny themselves all but very small quantities of food. The average caloric intake of a person with anorexia nervosa is 600-800 calories per day, but there are extreme cases of complete self-starvation. It is a serious mental illness with a high incidence of comorbidity and the highest mortality rate of any psychiatric disorder. Excellent anti-ad for anorexia, it would be great if such ads were shown more often. Especially for young girls wishing to be extremely thin.

Story of the Cliff House

The Cliff House is a restaurant perched on the headlands on the cliffs just north of Ocean Beach, on the western side of San Francisco, California. It has great history and a sad story. The first Cliff House was a modest structure built in 1863; the building survived the explosion of the schooner Parallel, abandoned and loaded with dynamite, ran aground on the rocks below but was later completely destroyed on Christmas night 1894 due to a defective flue. The Cliff House had also survived the 1906 earthquake with little damage but burned to the ground on the evening of September 7, 1907. Dramatic story in pictures. Hope you like it.

Very Cold Public Transport

This is Russian city Norilsk. It is the northernmost city in Siberia and the world’s second largest city above the Arctic Circle.The extreme temperatures can go till -54°C. Therefore, it’s hard to see any homeless people there. When weathermen say that it will be warm, it means it will be -10°C. People have even known snow in June. And this is the bus in winter. It’s not this way all the time, but it can happen.

This email was forwarded to everyone with these attached photos and was like an urban myth: “Imagine moving into an old farmhouse in the Portuguese countryside, and, while walking around “the lower 40” of your new investment, you come across an old building. Curious as to what may be inside, you pry open the rusted door and for the first time in decades, one of the largest hordes of old cars ever discovered is exposed to sunlight.” Well, in fact the owner of the cars was a car dealer in the 1970s and 1980s, and decided to save the most interesting cars that came through his doors. When the barn was full, he padlocked and “soldered” the doors shut. The owner also wants to keep a secret about the cars’ location and his name. There are about 180 cars in the barn. And they worth a fortune.

The purpose of the mug shot is to allow law enforcement to have a photographic record of the arrested individual to allow for identification by victims and investigators. Most mug shots are two-part, with one side-view photo, and one front-view. They may be compiled into a mug book into order to determine the identity of a criminal. In the competition for the title of Miss England 2008 will not be anything special, not voting 17-year-old Chloe Marshall, from Surrey. The girl received the title of Miss Surrey in March this year and became the first in British history contender for the title, whose physical parameters (178sm, 80kg) is correctly referred to as “plus-size”. Chloe is already working as a model agency Model Plus. And this is a valid Miss England 2007 – Georgia Horsley. Good girl, probably, but with Miss Marshall, she did not complain, of course.

Kicking Someone’s Ass While You Dance

This is my favorite martial art of all. It’s very physical, rhythmic and simply beautiful. Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian art form that makes a ritual of movements from martial arts, games, and dance. Take A Wild Guess What This Could Be

This piece of metal is two bullets fused together. These bullets are from the Crimean War, one bullet is Russian another is French. They had to be shot right in the center and when the mid-air collision happened they just fused together. The case like this are very rare.
