Natural vs Make-Up

Many modern women can’t fathom leaving home without laying on at least some makeup, and sometimes we are glad for it. However, see these with and without makeup photo comparisons to decide for yourself whether or not makeup worked its magic.

Elmira is a student and she uses make-up only when she is going to a party.

Bella is a designer; she uses make-up every day and can hardly believe that people will see her photo with no make-up on.

Karakoz is a housewife. She says: “After my child was born, I understood that a woman can look beautiful without any make-up.”

Sam is a stylist and a go-go dancer. He uses make-up before every performance.

Dinara used make-up for the first time in her life in the 10th grade. She doesn’t use make-up very often now and believes that a woman should look natural. However, she does occasionally use foundation and lip-gloss.

Elena is a shoe salesman. She doesn’t like to experiment and prefers a more natural look.

Victoria never leaves her house without make-up and ends up spending most of her morning on it. She wakes up at least two hours ahead of her first class in order to afford herself enough time to put on her face.

Olga believes that one needs to be taught how to use make-up correctly. She is chief steward on AirAstana. She used mascara for the first time at 15 years old. However, she washed it away when she went back home so that her mother would not see it.

Tatiana is a pensioner. She likes a natural look and only uses make-up for special events.

Aksere is a student who believes that make-up should be an essential part of modern people’s lives. She believes it helps attract attention.

Transvestism is the practice of cross-dressing, which is wearing clothing traditionally associated with the opposite sex. Transvestite refers to a person who cross-dresses; however, the word often has additional connotations. Cross-dressing is the act of wearing clothing and other accoutrement commonly associated with a gender within a particular society that is seen as different than the one usually presented by the dresser. An unusual thing is that although the word transvestism was coined as late as the 1910s, the phenomenon is not new. It was referred to in the Bible and traces back to Ethiopia and the origin of man. Kiira Korpi may not be the best athlete in this years winter Olympics, but she’s certainly the hottest. A figure skater from Finland, Kiira has opened the doors for many young Americans to choose their next Foreign Exchange destination to be her very own country. Korpi was born in Tampere, Finland. Her father, Rauno Korpi, coached the Finnish women’s hockey team to a bronze medal at the 1998 Winter Olympics. Korpi began skating at the age of five, following her older sister. She landed her first triple jump, a salchow, when she was 11 or 12. In Finland her nickname is Jääprinsessa (Ice Princess) due to her resemblance to Grace Kelly, the former Princess of Monaco. What a Man Will do to Fix His Mistake

One husband made a huge mistake by losing something of value. However, see what he was willing to do to retrieve it. Would you do the same?

Brian McGuinn, of Margate, Florida, accidentally tossed his wife Anna’s $10k wedding ring into the trash along with his disposable razor. However, once he realized what he had done the trash company had already picked up their garbage. In a panic Anna dialed their local waste management company Wheelabrator to let them know of their predicament.

Luckily, Brian was at the literal trash heap within the hour and was able to dig through his neighborhood trash.

Diving into the disgusting pile of over 8 tons of rotten food and various other trash items he was somehow able to find the expensive, and sentimental ring.

According to Brian he let go a primordial scream as he clutched the newly found ring in his hand.

Brian proved his love for his wife by not only retrieving the lost ring, but also saying that he would dumpster dive all over again for his wife’s ring.

Nowadays, however, Brigitte Bardot has an altogether more sombre public image. But no one is getting younger. Brigitte Bardot got old. The former actress and model is 77 years old now. Bardot retired from the entertainment industry in 1973. During her career in show business Bardot starred in 47 films, performed in numerous musical shows, and recorded 80 songs. Mother Sacrifices For Her Child

I want to tell you the story about the birth of this baby. Doctors initially told 41-year-old Stacie Crimm of Oklahom that she would not be able to have a child, but when she unexpectedly got pregnant her life changed forever.

Crimm immediately began preparing for the birth of her child, but she soon started having major headaches, tremors and double vision. After her family’s insistent pleas that she visit a doctor Crimm finally went to her local hospital in July for tests, which revealed she had neck and head cancer. She quickly decided not to undergo cancer treatment for the sake of her baby, but on August 16 she collapsed at home and was rushed to the hospital. Apparently the tumor had started to wrap around her brain stem. Within a few days her condition deteriorated and the doctors said a C-section was the only hope of saving her child.

Her baby, Dottie Mae, was born weighing only 2lbs 1oz and was immediately put in the neonatal intensive care unit, which was in a different building than where Crimm was staying. Crimm was initially unable to see her daughter because of how bad shape they both were in.

However, the nurse Agi Beo was able to create a mobile ICU unit to bring Dottie Mae to Crimm’s bedside. The two were finally united after several weeks, with Dottie laying on Crimm’s chest.

After battling her disease for months Crimm unfortunately passed away three days after holding her baby. Crimm’s brother Ray Phillips will be raising Dottie Mae along with his wife and four other children.

Inemuri – A Japanese Thing

There is very unusual art in Japan. It is called “inemuri”, and it allows people to be asleep and present at the same time. There is no secret that Japan is a workaholic culture. Thus some people have an amazing talent for falling asleep in elevators, on trains and even during meetings. And this talent is admired, because the Japanese think that only slackers can sleep all night long, others should fall asleep out of exhaustion. “Inemuri” still requires following particular rules. You can’t lounge, so you should keep upright while sleeping. And you can’t endanger the social situation. Of course, some people fake “inemuri”. But even when they actually take a nap on the go, they can still maintain their composure. For example, they won’t miss their stop even when being genuinely asleep.
